Kaleb V. Allen was killed in a automobile accident with his friend Dylan M. Miller at 12:30 A.M. near Dunkirk, Hardin Co. Oh. They were leaving the last night of the county fair where both boys showed livestock. The car went off the left side of the road and hit a tree. Kaleb the son of Robert and Lisa (Woodruff)Allen. Surviving in addition to his parents are a sister, Melea Allen, Dunkirk; grandparents, Vern and Joan Woodruff, Dunkirk; Alice and Don Shellenbarger, of Westminster; and Overton Allen, Biloxi, Mississippi. Proceding him in death is his grandfather, Elmer Allen; and great-grandmother, Elizabeth Allen. Kaleb was a junior at Hardin Northern High School. He was an Honor Roll Student; a member of FFA, where he held the office of Historian, and his primary project was in the poultry area. He played basketball and did track and field. He was also a member of the farm business management team. Kaleb attended Walnut Grove United Methodist Church; he was active in the youth program at the church and went on a mission trip to South Carolina. He also helped with Vaction Bible School. He regularly played basketball on Tuesday night at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church.
